Turning the oven on
In order that the baking oven be ignited, the oven door must first have been
completely and securely closed.
Before using the oven for the first time, leave it in operation empty (i.e. without
any food inside it) but at the highest temperature for a duration of 30 minutes.
Igniting of the flame
The oven is equipped with an automatic igniter.
Should the burner flame go out, turn the regulator (J) back into the "O" position and wait
for at least 1 minute before you begin another process of ignition.
You should check the flame by looking closely at its shape and colour. It should be
mostly blue and display a clear, sharp outline. If the flame is burning irregularly and
unsteadily, have the oven checked over by authorized specialists.
Exchange of the igniter’s battery (RMT 7X50, oven only)
Winter operation
Check that the roof mounted flue outlet has not been blocked by snow, leaves or
similar.
3. In order to adjust the oven to the required temperature, release the knob from the depressed
position and turn it to the temperature, marked on the dial, which you require. The various knob
positions correspond to temperatures in various regions stretching up to 260°C.
1. Lightly depress the knob (J) and turn it to the left into the igni-
tion position. The ignition of the baking oven is possible in all knob
positions.
2. Firmly and fully depress the knob and hold it depressed.
The ignition begins automatically. Once the flame is burning, keep
the knob pressed down for a period of about 10 seconds.
