Place pork cubes in slow cooker. Add onion and cabbage. Combine
stroganoff mix, gravy mix, soup, water, caraway seed and pepper
together; pour over pork mixture and stir to coat.
Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hours. About 30 minutes before
serving, turn to high and add frozen green beans. Add half and half
just before serving. Delicious over noodles or served with biscuits.
Serves 6.
ITALIAN SAUSAGE, PEPPERS AND ONIONS
1 Kg Italian link sausage, browned
1 jar of spaghetti sauce
1 large green bell pepper, sliced into thick strips
1 medium onion, sliced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Put all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on low for 4 hours. Serve on
crusty rolls.
HAM AND POTATO CASSEROLE
6 to 8 slices ham, deli or from leftover ham, about 3mm thick
8 to 10 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 med. onion, peeled and thinly sliced
salt and pepper
1 1/2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
2 cans condensed cream of celery or cream of mushroom soup
Paprika
Put half of ham, potatoes and onions in the slow cooker. Sprinkle with
salt and pepper, then 1 cup of the grated cheese. Spoon undiluted
soup over top. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese and paprika.
Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours or on high 4 hours.
