Broadcast waves
1Seg is one of the broadcast services and receives signals (broadcast waves) different from
those of FOMA services. In locations such as the following, the signal reception status may
become weak or out of service.
・
Far from the signal tower
・
Hiding behind objects; e.g. in a mountain or building
・
In tunnels, underground areas, and some locations far inside buildings
* The 1Seg antenna is built-in. You may be able to improve reception by keeping the FOMA
terminal away from/close to your body, or moving to another location.
■
Battery
When you activate 1Seg with the low battery, a confirmation screen appears prompting
you to select whether or not to activate 1Seg. When the battery gets low while watching
or recording 1Seg, the low-voltage alarm tone sounds, and a confirmation screen appears
prompting you to select whether or not to end watching or recording.
・
If "Rec. when low battery" is set to "ON", the low-voltage alarm tone does not sound
while recording.
・
When no operation is performed on the confirmation screen for approx. 1 minute,
1Seg is automatically turned off.
■
Display when using 1Seg for the first time
The disclaimer screen appears. When selecting "NO" on a confirmation screen that is
displayed by pressing
X
d
(OK), the screen will not appear from the next time.
