About operation
On / off, stand-by, playback of DVDs
Ø
Connect the power cable with a properly connected 230V~ household power socket.
Turn the power switch (next to the power cable outlet, at the back of the device) in the
ON position.

With this, you have switched on the device. All the functions can be controlled using the
remote control (RC). Some of the remote control buttons are also present on the device.
If no disc has been inserted, the display shows:
NO DISC
Ø
Press the OPEN/CLOSE
button to open the disc tray ("OPEN" is displayed on the
screen. In addition, the TV screen shows you information on the further operating steps
and the status of the device). Insert a disc inside the cavity of the tray with the labelled
side on the top.
Ø
Now press the OPEN/CLOSE
button again to close the disc tray. The DVD player
automatically begins to play. Normally most DVDs have a selection menu which you can
navigate using the

buttons.

After selecting the desired menu option, press the ENTER button to activate the choice. Most
of the times, additional information is provided about the contents on the DVD cover.
Ø
To stop playing, press the STOP
<
button. The screen shows "
". This means that
the device saves the exact position at which the play was stopped. Press the PLAY/PAUSE

button, to resume playing. When you press the STOP
<
button again, the device
stops completely and deletes the last position from the memory. The display switches to
"
". Not all discs can resume play from where they were stopped

If you get the message “NOT ALLOWED AT THE MOMENT” or “NOT ALLOWED BY DISC” on
the screen when you press any button, this means that the desired function cannot be
played. Either the current disc or the current functional mode does not support it.
Ø
To bring the device into the standby mode, press the POWER button on the remote
control. Whilst in the standby mode, the device displays “OFF”. To completely switch off
power, turn the power switch at the back of the device to the OFF position.
Ø
If the device is in standby mode, activate it by pressing the STANDBY button on the
device or the POWER button on the remote control.
Adjusting the volume, Muting
We have equipped the device with a volume control. Keep pressing the VOL + button or keep
it pressed to increase the volume. Using the VOL - button, you can decrease the volume.
Press the MUTE button when you wish to turn the sound off. "

Press this button again to switch on the sound again
Chapter skip and scanning
Press the
PREV

NEXT

buttons to jump to the previous or next chapter on the DVD or
the next title on the CD.
