Shared View is a feature of Single Mode on your receiver that lets you activate the TV2
audio and video outputs to display the same programming as the TV1 outputs. While
using this feature, both Remote Control 1 and Remote Control 2 for your satellite receiver
can control what is displayed on all TVs connected to the system. This feature is available
only while in Single Mode.
1
Make sure the receiver is in Single Mode.
2
Press MENU, select
System Setup
and then
Shared View
.

Select
Enable View
or
Disable View
.
4
Select
Done.
Note
: Make sure you are using Remote Control 1 and TV1 because you cannot enable or
disable this feature while using Remote Control 2.
Note
: If you do not want to display programming on any TV besides TV1 and you do not
want Remote Control 2 to control the receiver, select

If you have TV1 and TV2 connected to the receiver with coaxial cables (see page 115),
you can decide which channel you’d like to use to view your DISH programming on each
TV. Use Remote Control 1 to view or change this setting on TV1. If you have locked the
receiver, then you’ll have to enter the password to enable TV1’s output on the screen.
Make sure that each TV connected to your system is able to tune to the specific channel
you choose for it before you finish changing the setting on this screen. If more than one TV
is connected to TV2 outputs, all these TVs must be able to be tuned to the channel chosen
for TV2 output.
