Consider install locations for push-to talk button with built-in
microphone. Keep in mind, button must be within driver reach (cable is
6ft. long).
We recommend completing the rest of the install prior to
securing button to dash.
Once location has been decided simply
remove tape backing (See
Fig. 6
) and stick to a flat surface.

Connect/splice/Tap red wire to a 12V accessory supply in vehicle. 12V
accessory/switched supply available from cigar lighter Orange/Brown
wire, 12V Acc. is also available on Light Green/Orange wire on radio 14-
pin power/speaker plug. Connect
Black
wire to ground.
Warning:
Avoid connecting accessory wire to battery supply (always
on).
