Cleaning the hygienic exhaust filter

1.

Switch off the appliance,

Z

chapter 4.3, „Switching off“

.

2.

Push the release catch of the exhaust filter cover (Fig. 13/A) and lift off
the exhaust filter cover.

3.

Pull the hygienic exhaust filter up out of its holder (Fig. 13/B) and tap
the dirt from it over a dust bin.

4.

Should this be insufficient, remove the dirt from the filter with a soft
brush, e.g. the furniture brush supplied with the appliance (Fig. 14/A).

5.

If such dry cleaning is insufficient, thoroughly rinse the filter by hand in
running clear cold or hand-warm water.

6.

If the filter is damaged or deformed, replace it (ordering information

Z

chapter 5.4, „Spare parts and accessories“

).

7.

Place the clean/new hygienic exhaust filter back into its fitting (Fig. 13/
B).

8.

Then fit the exhaust filter cover on the rear side first and then push it
down on the front side (Fig. 14/B).

ATTENTION:

The filters are washable, but not suitable for cleaning in washing
machines or dishwashers. Do not use chemical cleansers to clean the
filter. Leave the filters to dry after cleaning them with water
(approx. 24 hours at room temperature). Only put them back into the
appliance when they are completely dry.

ATTENTION:

Only use original spare parts from the scope of delivery or those that you
have acquired by reordering.
