3.3 Storage
When putting away the vacuum cleaner, you can also use
one of two stow-away hook mounts(Fig. 15/1) underneath
the cylinder vacuum cleaner. This is where you can hook
the stow-away hook (Fig. 15/2) onto the telescopic tube
(Fig. 15).
If you want to store the appliance for a longer period of
time, empty the dust container and clean it as well as the
filters. Store the appliance in a cool, dry room.
3.4 Emptying the dust
container
Empty the dust container at the latest when the "Max"
mark (Fig. 16) has been reached or when it is losing suction
power.
1.
Press the release buttons (Fig. 1/6) and open the
housing cover (Fig. 1/8).
2.
Lift the dust container (Fig. 17/1) up out of the cylinder
vacuum cleaner.
3.
When emptying the dust container, hold it low over a
dustbin.
4.
Push the release button (Fig. 18/1). The base
(Fig. 18/2) opens and the dust runs into the dustbin.
5.
Carefully knock the remaining dust loose.
6.
Close the base and reinsert the dust container into the
cylinder vacuum cleaner.
7.
Close the housing cover. It clicks audibly into place.
