Filling or Refilling

Ensure each cap is properly installed on each tank by matching the sticker on the cap to the
sticker on the tank. Do not tighten these caps as they will be removed when filling begins.

See the assembly instructions found with the 1024UVMVP Refill Kit (PT-1320-K025) for proper
refill bottle assembly prior to filling your system.

The cap, stem, and valve assembly found inside the refill kit will fit most 500ml bottles of
MultiSolve™ Ink. Simply remove the cap from the 500ml bottle containing the MultiSolve™ Ink
and install the appropriate cap, stem, and valve assembly from the refill kit.

Ink from a 250ml or 1L bottle of MultiSolve™ Ink can also be poured into the provided 500ml
refill bottles prior to filling the Bulk Ink System.

Note

Before filling the white ink tank, ensure the white ink refill bottle is in the closed position. The
refill bottle is in the closed position when the valve is perpendicular to the fill tube. Cover open
end of tube with paper towel, and shake bottle six to eight times.

Enter the Ink Levels Screen prior to filling your Bulk Ink System.

Remove the ink tank cap from a LOW level ink tank. Place the cap, with the sticker facing up,
on a clean surface or paper towel to avoid contamination.

Ensure the matching refill bottle is in the open position and ready for filling. The refill bottle is
in the open position when the valve is parallel to the refill bottle stem.

Place the end of the refill bottle stem into the neck of the open ink tank. Squeeze the refill
bottle firmly to begin dispensing ink into the tank. Once fully compressed, release grip to allow
air to reenter the bottle. After bottle returns to original shape, repeat these steps and listen for
the following:

First beep (short): Tank no longer LOW/Continue filling
Second beep (long): Tank is FULL/Stop filling

Reinstall cap tightly and repeat steps for filling the remaining LOW tanks.
