4 Intended use
This device must not be operated by persons (including children)
with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or lacking the
necessary experience and/or knowledge.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the device.
These high-efficiency pumps from the series are intended for the
circulation of liquids (no oils, liquids containing oil, no foodstuff)
in:
Domestic hot water heating systems
Air conditioning, cooling and cold water circuits
Heat pumps, brine circuits up to +2 °C
Closed industrial circulating systems
Approved media to be pumped are heating water in accordance
with VDI 2035, water/glycol mixtures in a ratio of 1:1.
When glycol is added, the output data of the pump must be ad-
justed based on the higher viscosity.

Danger of damage to health!
The materials used in the series can cause damage to health as they are
not approved for use in domestic water circulating systems.
Pumps are not approved for use in pure domestic water systems.
4.1 Media to be pumped
Pure, thin liquid, non-aggressive and non-explosive media with
no solid or long fibre components and free from admixtures of
mineral oils.
In heating systems, the water should fulfil the requirements of
current valid standards, which apply for the water quality in heat-
ing systems (e.g. VDI 2035).
ATTENTION!

The pump must not be used to convey inflammable media, such as diesel
oil and petrol.
