If the system needs to be completely refilled due to a fault or
leakage, please proceed as follows:
1) Before starting work, make sure that the system is discon-
nected from the power supply and secured against being
switched on again.
2) Extract refrigerant from the system. Do not release the re-
frigerant into the atmosphere unimpeded. When handling
R32, only use equipment approved for the pressure and
temperature.
3) If necessary, carry out repairs to the refrigeration circuit.
Before starting work, make sure that no refrigerant is
trapped in the refrigeration circuit. Refrain from using
spark-producing tools. Do not work on the compressor
with a soldering torch.
4) After the repair work has been completed, the system must
be checked for leaks. It is recommended that you use dry
nitrogen for this purpose. Never expose the system to
higher test pressures than those specified on the device.
5) Evacuate the system and make sure that there is no oxygen
or nitrogen in the pipe system.
6) Fill the system with the amount of refrigerant defined on
the type plate. Make sure that the system is not overfilled.
Modification or extension of the piping may result in a
changed filling quantity of the refrigerating system.
After completing the filling process, it is recommended to
check the device and all connecting pipes once again for
leaks using a suitable detection device.
7) After all work has been completed and the original condi-
tion of the system has been restored, the device can be put
back into operation.
CAUTION!
!!
If the filling quantity changes, document it in an easily visible
place (e.g. filling quantity on the type plate). Do not add more
than the specified amount of refrigerant to the system.
