HYBRID Coater Service Manual ver1.1



For the lower bearing (the Spline Nut) put 2cm

of grease in the vertical groove and

move the head up and down several times via the software in the same manner till all
grease is moved into the bearing.

17 Lubrication of Z drive bearing (IKO TU40); nipples on runners (on HC-100) :



Use grease: Shell Alvania EP2



Use the high pressure grease gun VP-0091 with adapter VP-0089 and pump enough

grease in the runners. The spindle nuts may stay untouched.



Move the head up and down several times via the software (

), then choose the

and check

Random

and check

Destination

and at

Range

check

Free

, click then

Move

and when the grease is spread, click again to stop

the movement.

18 Lubrication of Z drive bearing (IKO TU40); spindle (on HC-100) :



19 Lubrication of toothed belt Z movement (on HC-200) :



Lubricate the small toothed belt in the coating head with VP-0051 grease on the

inside of the belt.

20 Check encoder on Ø axis (on HC-200) :



Check if the encoder on the Z-axis is dirty, replace it if necessary. Recalibrate machine.

21 Check sensor on the Z axis (on HC-100 and HC-200) :



Check if the sensor on the Z-axis is dirty, clean if necessary.

22 Conveyor: product clamping and conveyor action (only when option is present) :



Move the Product clamping ledges by hand and check if they move smoothly.



Test the function of the clamping, the product sensor and the stop pin, by running a

product. Also of the product width adjustment.



Test the transport belts (via

Options

Test Machine Parts

Transport System

in the

software) and check if the belts, wheels and drive gears run smoothly. Check the
tension.



In case of a chain conveyor lubricate the chain. Use oil: BM-9055 (Klüber HOTEMP

2000).
