“Delayed Write Failed” occurs
frequently.
If some of the following coincide, the chance of an error in
a file is increased.
• A single file is accessed too often, such as being
opened, read, or written.
• The amount of installed memory is too small to secure
enough cache memory.
• File fragmentation is high.
• The I/O load on the disk is high.
• Delayed-write fails.
Try the hard disk maintenance. If the problem continues,
replace the hard disk.
I want to resume the PS-A from
the standby and sleep statuses
via LAN.
Set the PS-A as follows:
1. From the [Start] menu, select [Control Panel].
2. Select [System]. (When you use Windows XP, you can
find it in [Performance and Maintenance] in the
Category View.)
3. On the [Hardware] tab, select [Device Manager].
4. Expand [Network Adapter] and double-click [Realtek
RTL8169/8110 Family Gigabit Ethernet NIC].
5. On the [Power Management] tab, check [Allow the
computer to turn off this device to save power.].
“CMOSCHECK SUM ERROR”
occurred although I did not shut
down or reboot the system.
The CMOS battery may become exhausted. Replace the
battery. Note that the BIOS setting will be lost when the
battery is removed. You need to configure the BIOS
setting again after the battery replacement.
The battery may become exhausted quickly in the
following cases:
• The temperature of the use environment suddenly
changed from low to high.
• The installed expansion board quickly consumes the
CMOS battery.
