Service Procedures

Digital STARION 400i - 900i PC

MCS Logistics Engineering - Nijmegen

Part Removal and Replacement

Removing the 3½-Inch Diskette Drive

To remove the 3½-inch diskette drive:

1)

Turn off the computer.

Disconnect external devices, ac power and monitor power.

3) Remove

cover.

Remove two screws securing the diskette drive to front panel.

Disconnect power cable.

Slightly lift front of drive to clear front panel and slide diskette drive out of the front of the chassis.

Disconnect ribbon cable.

Refer to “Connecting Diskette and IDE Devices”.
