Configuration
Your EtherWORKS Turbo PCI board will be configured automatically
in most PCI systems. Use your system’s BIOS Setup utility only if you
wish to modify the configuration after you install the EtherWORKS
Turbo PCI board, or if you need to change the computer settings.
Note
Refer to your computer documentation for instructions on how
to use your system’s BIOS Setup utility.
BIOS Setup Utility
The BIOS Setup utility enables you to select and permanently store
information about the computer’s hardware and software in the
battery-backed memory of the CMOS RAM. This information takes
effect each time the computer boots and can be changed each time you
run Setup.
The PCI device option allows you to configure the PCI slots on your
computer’s main logic board. Table 2–2 lists the PCI option settings
available for the EtherWORKS Turbo PCI board.
