Front Panel
1) Power LED — Lights when the module has power.
2) Module OK
LED — Lights when the module
passes self-test. If the module fails self-test, the
Module OK
LED remains off.
3) Network OK LED — Indicates status of the back-
plane ThinWire port on the DEChub 900 or of the AUI
port on the DEChub ONE docking station.
4) Network Activity
LED — Indicates network traffic
level.
5) Port State LEDs — The LEDs (labeled
1
through
12
)
show status of ports A1 to A12 or ports B1 to B12, de-
pending on the state of the Bank Indicator LEDs.
6) Bank Indicator LEDs — The LEDs (labeled
A
and
B
)
light one at a time for a few seconds, indicating which
connector, Telco-A or Telco-B, is currently displaying
its port connection status on the 12 Port State LEDs.
7) AUI LEDs — The AUI Power LED ( labeled
I/O
) indi-
cates that the AUI port has power to supply to an ex-
ternal medium attachment unit (MAU). The AUI
Status LED (not labeled) indicates the status of the
AUI network connection.

8) Momentary LED cycle switch — Stops and starts
the LED status scanning of the Bank Indicator LEDs
during operation.
9) Ethernet AUI (15-pin D-Sub) port connector —
connects to an external MAU directly or by using an
AUI cable. Refer to the OPEN DECconnect Applica-
tions Guide for a list of AUI media adapters you can
use with your module.
10) Telco connectors — Two 50-pin connectors, Telco-A
and Telco-B, each providing 12 ports.
