Power Management

Power Management technology helps
reduce the computer’s power
consumption during computer inactivity.
Use the power management software
to set the computer’s power
management features. Alternatively,
power management features can be set
in BIOS Setup.
PC Care (Windows 95
only)
Select Programs and then
PC Care.
PC Care is a diagnostic, computer
information, and computer optimization
tool. (See “Using Diagnostics.”)

“Getting Started.”
“Getting Started” provides a place to
launch special programs such as
Power Management. It also provides
an Education section that includes a
Windows-based on-line help file called
“Using Your Computer.” Several
tutorials are also included in the
Education section.
Audio Applications (only
available on some
models; Windows 95
required)
Select Programs and then
Audio Applications.
Use the Audio Applications software to
configure the computer for sound.
These utilities provide the convenience
of having the controls all in one place.
Video Utilities
Select the Control Panel and
then Display
These include utilities such as Matrox
MGA or the S3 Refresh, whichever is
applicable to the computer. Refresh
utilities allows you to set the refresh rate
of the display.
