VLAN Commands

switchport voice vlan

This command specifies the Voice VLAN mode for ports. Use the

form to disable

the Voice VLAN feature on the port.

Syntax

switchport voice vlan

- The Voice VLAN feature is enabled on the port, but the port must

be manually added to the Voice VLAN.

•

auto

- The port will be added as a tagged member to the Voice VLAN when

VoIP traffic is detected on the port.

command (page 4-256).

Example

The following example sets port 1 to Voice VLAN auto mode.

This command selects a method for detecting VoIP traffic on a port. Use the

form

to disable the detection method on the port.
