About Temperature and Heat
Unlike standard active monitor designs, the
RMS speakers features an ultra-efficient power
amplifier where very little power is converted to
heat. But if the unit is place in an unventilated
or hot environment the thermal shutdown
safety feature may activate. If this occurs, relo-
cate the unit.
If the thermal shutdown activates a second time
after satisfactorily resetting, contact Digidesign
customer service. (Contact information is in-
cluded on the back cover of this guide.)
