1.3 APPLICATIONS
The Vega Video can be used in conjunction with the Vega Wireless Cameras in a wide range of applications.
With the built-in CPU, it can work as a standalone system (with no further special software) providing a web-
based solution for the transmission of high quality video images for monitoring purposes. It can be managed
remotely, accessed and controlled from any PC desktop over the Intranet or Internet via a web browser.
With the easy installation procedure, you can get real-time live images and then save them to an ordinary
external USB Hard-Disk.
The typical applications for the Vega Video in conjunction with the Vega Wireless Cameras are:

Monitoring of local and remote places and objects such as construction sites, hospitals, amusement
parks, schools and day-care centers.
