The material in this section is for advanced computer users.
File Naming
When files are uploaded to the PC, the Connex software assigns a
unique name to each file. The file name includes the portable ID, the
creation date and time of the voice file, and the voice file number. The
file naming convention is as follows:
ppppppppmmddhhmmLxxxx.wav
where:
pppppppp
8 character unique portable ID (may be used to
identify dictator)
mmdd
4 character voice file month and day creation date
hhmm
4 character voice file hour and minute creation
time
Lxxxx
Voice file number

Tour Connex target folder. Callouts identify file name components.
