7. Diode Measurement (DIO)
(1) Set the rotary dial to “ “; Press “SELECT”
button on the measuring function range twice to select
Diode.
(2) Connect the red and black test probes to the positive
and negative poles of the diode to be tested. The
positive conductivity voltage value will be displayed
in the centre of the screen; If the probes are connected
to the incorrect polarity, the screen shall display the
measurement sign “OL”;
Warning:
When measuring the diode, the circuit power must
be isolated and electric charge of all electric capacitors
must be fully discharged before the diode is connected
with the product. More accurate measurement will
be possible when the components are separated
from the circuit.
