has a mechanical brake, pull it at the same
time. Don’t park your car on slope. If it is
inevitable to park your car on a slope, set
the shifting knob at proper gear and keep
the front wheels toward the roadside.
Electric Power Steering (EPS)
System
Warning
During driving, if the vehicle is powered
off, the electrical power steering system
will be out of service, then it will be
difficult to steer.
During driving, the electric power steering
(EPS) system's warning light is on, which
means that the electric power steering
(EPS) system is abnormal. You can still
control your car, but it will be abnormal
for steering (without power, abnormal
power or others), especially in case of
sudden turn and driving at a low speed. Be
careful. Please send your car to Chongqing
Jinkang dealers for inspection and repair.
When steering, the electric power steering
(EPS) system will provide additional
steering force so as to reduce the burden
for driver to turn the steering wheel.
When parking car or driving at a low
speed, keep turning the steering wheel, and
then the force provided by electric power
steering (EPS) system will be reduced.
Such will prevent the electric power
steering (EPS) system from damaging due
to overheating. When the force is reduced,
it will be difficult to operate the steering
wheel. When the temperature of electric
power steering (EPS) system is reduced,
the force will resume to be normal. Don’t keep turning the steering wheel, or will
overheat the electric power steering (EPS)
system.
If turning the steering wheel so fast, you
will hear obvious grating sound. If
necessary, please consult the service
stations authorized by Chongqing Jinkang
for inspection.
Brake System
The brake system has two independent
hydraulic circuits. When one circuit is
faulted, another one will still work and
generate brake force for two wheels. In
braking process, the speed is reduced by
the brake friction and the friction between
tires and ground. The slight friction and
the friction sound between tires and
ground are normal during braking process;
