3.1.4 Power Management Setup
The Power Management Setup allows you to configure your system to
most effectively save energy. If you like to use the soft power down
feature of Windows
95/98/2000, you must enable the Power
Management below. Select Min. Power, Max. Power or User Define.
Either one can be used as long as it is NOT disabled.
The settings on the screen are for reference only. Your version may not be
identical to this one.

ACPI Function
This function should be enabled only in operating systems that
support ACPI. Currently, only Windows
®
98/2000 supports this
function.
Power Management
This field allows you to select the type (or degree) of power saving
by changing the length of idle time that elapses before the Standby
mode and Suspend mode are activated.
Disabled
No power management. Disables the Standby and
Suspend modes.
Min Saving
Minimum power saving time for Standby and Suspend
mode = 1 hr.
Max Saving
Maximum power saving time for Standby and
Suspend mode = 10 sec.
User Define
Allows you to set the power saving time in the
Standby Mode and Suspend Mode fields.
