Step 2: Configure Serial ATA in the Award BIOS
1. Power-on the system then press <Del> to enter the main menu
of the Award BIOS.
2. Select the Integrated Peripherals submenu -> OnChip IDE De-
vice section of the BIOS.
3. Enable the onboard Serial ATA function by setting the “Serial-ATA
1” field to “Enabled”.
4. Enable the RAID function by setting the “RAID Enable” field to
“Enabled”.
5. Enable the Serial ATA channel you want to configure as RAID in
the “SATA 1 Primary RAID” or “SATA 1 Secondary RAID” field.
6. Press <Esc> to return to the main menu of the BIOS setup
utility. Select “Save & Exit Setup” and press <Enter>.
7. Type <Y> and press <Enter>.
8. Reboot the system.
