3.1.2.3 Hyper-Threading Technology (for Intel

with Hyper-Threading Technology only)
This field is used to enable the functionality of the Intel
®
Pentium
®
4 Processor with Hyper-Threading Technology and will
appear only when using this processor.
3.1.2.4 Quick Power On Self Test
This field speeds up Power On Self Test (POST) whenever the
system is powered on. The BIOS will shorten or skip some check
items during POST. To attain the shortest POST time, select “Ena-
bled”.
3.1.2.5 USB Flash Disk Type
Auto
Automatically detects the USB device.
HDD
Emulates the USB flash disk to HDD mode.
Floppy
Emulates the USB flash disk to floppy mode.
3.1.2.6 Hard Disk Boot Priority
This field is used to select the boot sequence of the hard drives.
Move the cursor to this field then press <Enter>. Use the Up or
Down arrow keys to select a device then press <+> to move it
up or <-> to move it down the list.
3.1.2.7 First Boot Device, Second Boot Device, Third Boot Device
and Boot Other Device
Select the drive to boot first, second and third in the “First Boot
Device” “Second Boot Device” and “Third Boot Device” fields
respectively. The BIOS will boot the operating system according to
the sequence of the drive selected. Set “Boot Other Device” to
Enabled if you wish to boot from another device.
3.1.2.8 Swap Floppy Drive
When this field is enabled and the system is booting from the
floppy drive, the system will boot from drive B instead of drive A.
When this field is disabled and the system is booting from the
floppy drive, the system will boot from drive A. You must have
two floppy drives to use this function.
