586ITXD System Board User’s Manual

2. On the Windows

 95 desktop, select “Start”.

3. In “Start”, select “Suspend”.

4. The system will store all information about your current

operating session onto your hard drive.

5. You will hear 5 long beeps before the system enters the “Soft-

Off” (Soft Power Off) state.

6. The next time you power up the system, the BIOS message

appears and you will hear one long beep.

7. The operating session where you left off before the system

enters the “Soft-Off” state will resume, just as it was.
