5.6 Mounting the sensor unit
The COMPACT control unit can be equipped with a protective mechanism. A sensor unit (sensor
and processor) can be mounted under the tabletop between the table frames.
The sensor is attached to both the table frame and the tabletop. The contact point with the table-
top is marked with a yellow dot, as shown in Figure 40.

NOTICE
This protective mechanism only works when the sensor is correctly installed. Make sure that the
side of the sensor marked with a yellow dot is facing the tabletop.
CAUTION
•
You should only install and remove the sensor when it is completely disconnected from any live
current!
•
This safety mechanism is not effective for the system unless the drilled holes are aligned ex-
actly with each other. Personal injury and property damage can result from improper alignment.
The screws are not included in our delivery.
