Installing 9-Volt Alkaline Battery in Hand-

Held Remote Control Unit

1.  Remove battery cover on back of remote 

control unit.

2.  Attach terminal wires to a 9-volt alkaline 

battery (not included). Place battery into 
battery housing.

3.   Replace battery cover onto remote control 

unit.

removing  inner  glass  door  or 

louvers.

Removing Louver Panels

Remove  top  and  bottom  louver  panels  by 
simultaneously  pulling  both  top  end  spring 
latches  towards  center  of  appliance  until 
they  are  disengaged  from  locating  holes 
(see  Figure  42).  Repeat  for  bottom  spring 
latches  and  pull  louvers  outward.  To  install 
or  replace  items  removed,  simply  reverse 
procedures above.

Outer Door Installation

It is important that you remove glass doors 

prior  to  installing  your  fireplace.  To  remove 

doors,  pull  up  and  out  to  disengage  pins. 

Set doors aside until installation of fireplace 

is  complete.  Reinstall  doors  by  seating  pin 
on  door  into  slot  on  enclosure  frame  (see 
Figure 41).
