4.3 Operation via contactless sensor or integrated
keyboard
Operating lights which cannot be controlled and whose brightness and
color temperature cannot be adjusted via the user interface of a treatment
center (ceiling model, ceiling combination) can be operated via the
contactless sensor or integrated keyboard.
The On/Off settings and Composite function can be completed via the
contactless sensor. The brightness and color temperature settings can
also be completed via the integrated keyboard.
With the version of the operating light as a unit model the sensor function
(on/off) and the operating distance of the contactless sensor can be
adjusted via the dentist element on the treatment center (see "Operation
via the dentist or assistant element" [ → 22]).
4.3.1 Operation via contactless sensor
Switching the operating light to the normal mode

The operating light is switched off.

or: The operating light is operated with the Composite function.
➢ Move your hand swiftly underneath the contactless sensor in a
horizontal direction.
Switching the operating light to the composite function
With the composite function, the operating light can be operated at a
reduced brightness of approx. 10,000 lux.
This function is required to prevent the premature curing of composite
materials.

or: The operating light is switched on in the Normal mode.
