Using DAB/DAB+
DAB and DAB+ (available in the Middle East, Asia, and Oceania; see the chart in the
for a list of supported countries) use a digital signal to broadcast
a wide selection of channels. DAB and DAB+ provides a listening experience without the hiss,
crackle, or fading signal. DAB+ uses the same transmitters as DAB, though it converts sound
to digital in a more efficient way with additional stations to choose. With DAB and DAB+, there
is no need to remember frequencies; just select the station name.
DAB and DAB+ signals contain extra information that can be seen on the DN-300DH display.
While you listen, stations may show scrolling text with artist name, track title, genre, upcoming
songs, news headlines, sports scores, website addresses, or request line telephone numbers.
