RS-232 In
The RS-232 In port connects to a computer or server to provide data and control signals
to the NovoDisplay. When connecting a device to the RS-232 port:
For NovoDisplay: Use a standard Ethernet cable.
For the OPS Module: Use a standard RS-232 cable.
NOTE: The RS232 port on the OPS module does not support control commands, it is only used
for debugging. To send control commands to the display, use the embedded RS232 In port on
the display.

OPS Module
USB (2.0)
The USB ports on both the NovoDisplay and OPS module allow you to connect USB
devices such as a mouse or keyboard for easier navigation of the NovoDisplay
’s
interface, while the USB port on the OPS module also allows you to connect USB flash
drives to save app related files. When connecting a USB flash drive:
For USB Devices: Connect the device to the USB port on the display or OPS
module.
For USB Flash Drives: Connect the flash drive to the OPS module only.
NOTE: The USB Type-C ports do not support playback of media files.
