Purge
Frequent use of the “Purge” operation ensures improved beverage quality
and proper equipment maintenance.
• Without inserting a capsule, press the tea/water extraction button, to
pump the water through the machine. The luminous indicators of the
espresso and coffee extraction buttons go out.
The indicator light of the tea extraction button will stay on
(see
Fig. 14
).
• The luminous indicator of the tea extraction button blinks and the
purge operation starts.
• During the purge the corresponding button may be pressed again in
order to stop the operation.
Warning: If, during the beverage preparation, there is any alert
because of a lack of water, blockage or fault in the used
capsule tank, the equipment will/must be stopped immediately.

• The equipment returns to the “Ready to use” mode and all the luminous
indicators of the control panel buttons are illuminated green
(see
Fig. 7
).
