3.8 Power
Connection
NOTE:
1. The input power must conform to the rated value on the equipment nameplate.
2. The diameters of the power wires and backup connecting wires should conform to
national or local regulations. The recommend power cord: PVC wiring, H05VV-F,
core 3G and 12AWG (2.5mm
2
).
3. The cooling unit’s maximum power consumption is HCH1850: 1000W or
HCH1870: 2400W. Please install an appropriate UL-listed or European equivalent
breaker in front of the input side of the unit to protect other equipment connected
in the same circuit when an overload or short issue occurs.
The suggestion of the breaker is as follows.
HCH1850: Above 300Vac, 8A, 2-Pole
HCH1870: Above 300Vac, 20A, 2-Pole
4. In locking the screws for wiring at the power terminal block, use the recommended
installation torque (12.2Kgf-cm ).
5. If there is no wire passing through the communication wire duct at the top of the
cabinet, cover the duct with the cover plate provided in the accessory package so
as to avoid dust accumulation.
6. The length of the conductor between the cord anchorage and the terminals shall
be such that the current-carrying conductors become taut before the earthing
conductor if the cord slips out of the cord anchorage.
