 Please note 

The filter lasts about two months if the appliance is used nor-
mally. If the coffee machine is left unused with the filter instal-
led, it will last a maximum of 3 weeks.
3.  To activate the filter, run tap water through the hole in the 

filter as shown in fig. 40 until water comes out of the ope-
nings at the side for more than a minute;

4.   Remove the tank (A11)

from the machine and fill 
with water. Insert the fil-
ter in the water tank and 
immerse it completely 
for about ten minutes, 
sloping it to enable the 
air bubbles to escape (fig. 
41). 

5.  Insert the filter in the 

filter housing and press 
fully home (fig. 42) 

6.   Close the tank with the lid (A10), then put the tank back in 

the machine (fig. 43).

8.   Position a container under the hot water spout (min. capa-

city: 500 ml);

9.  Deliver at least 500ml of water (see “9.1 Delivering hot 

water”).
