SETTING UP THE APPLIANCE
Please note!
•
The first time you use the machine, the water circuit is
empty and the appliance could be very noisy. The noise
becomes less as the circuit fills.
•
Coffee has been used to factory test the appliance and it
is therefore completely normal for there to be traces of
coffee in the mill. The machine is, however, guaranteed to
be new.
•
You should customise water hardness as soon as possible
following the instructions in section "14.

hardness".
1. Insert the power cable connector (D7) into the socket (A21)
at the back of the appliance and connect the appliance to
the mains electricity supply (fig. 1). Make sure the main
switch (A22) at the back of the appliance is pressed (fig. 2);

2. To select the language of the display, press and hold
until the required language appears on the
display, then press the flag corresponding to the language.
Follow the instructions indicated on the appliance display:

3. Remove the water tank (A17) (fig. 3), fill to the MAX line
(marked on the tank) with fresh water (fig. 4, then put the
tank back in the appliance (fig. 5);

4. Check that the hot water spout (D6) is inserted on the con-
nection nozzle (A8) (fig. 6) and place a container holding a
minimum of 100 ml underneath (fig. 7);

to confirm: The appliance delivers
water from the spout (fig. 8) then goes off automatically.
The coffee machine is now ready for normal use.
