Removing the Audio Board
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer

2.
Remove the
battery
.
3.
Remove the
base cover
.
4.
Remove the
hard drive assembly
.
5.
Remove the
optical drive
.
6.
Remove the
keyboard
.
7.
Remove the
palm rest
.
8.
Remove the screw that secures the audio board to the palm rest.
9.
Open the clip that secures the audio board cable to its connector on the audio board.
