6. Insert the
QLogic drivers and firmware update diskette
into the systems diskette
drive.

as the path to the driver and then click
OK
.
8. Select
QLogic QLA2000/QLA2100 PCI-Fibre Channel Adapter
from the list of
drivers and click
OK
.
9. When the following message appears, click
OK
to exit the
Control Panel

to reboot your system.

Your host adapter card is configured with the current version of the basic input-output
system (BIOS). If you need to update the cards BIOS, perform the following steps:
1.
Insert the
QLogic drivers and firmware update diskette
into the systems diskette
drive and boot your system.
2. When the
D?
prompt appears, type
FGELRV
and press <Enter>.
3. Type
TO[XWLO
and press <Enter>.
A list appears showing the addresses of the host bus adapters installed in the
system.
4. Type the correct adapter address and press <Enter>.
5. Press <F> and then press <Enter> to flash the BIOS.
When the BIOS upgrade is successfully completed, the following message
appears:

6. Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 for any other host bus adapters installed in the system.
7.
After you finish updating the BIOS for all host bus adapter cards in the system,
you must turn off and then turn on the system for the changes to take effect.
