This document describes how to install the QLogic QLA2100 or QLA2100F host bus
adapter card in your server system and configure the card for use.
+DUGZDUH,QVWDOODWLRQ
To install the QLogic QLA2100 or QLA2100F host bus adapter card, perform the fol-
lowing steps:
1.
Install the host bus adapter card in an available PCI slot.
2. After you install the card in the system, connect the Fibre Channel cable to con-
nector J1 on the QLA2100 or QLA2100F card.
3. Boot the system.

To install the driver for the QLogic QLA2100 or QLA2100F host bus adapter card into a
system running the Microsoft
®
Windows NT
®
operating system, perform the follow-
ing steps:
1.
Click the
Start
button, point to
Settings
, and click
Control Panel
.
2. Double-click the
SCSI Adapter
icon.
The
SCSI Adapter
window appears.
3. Click the
Drivers
tab.
A list of all installed host adapters appears.
4. Click
Add
.
5. Click
Have Disk
.
