Display Assembly and Display Latch: Dell Latitude D600 Service Manual

9. Press in both sides of the top display cable connector, and pull the display cable

connector away from the top flex-cable connector.

Display Latch

NOTICE:

Disconnect the computer and any attached devices from electrical

outlets, and remove any installed batteries.

NOTICE:

To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist

grounding strap or by touching an unpainted metal surface on the computer.

1. Remove the

keyboard

2. Remove the

display assembly

3. Remove the

display bezel

4. Remove the two M2.5 x 4-mm screws that secure the display latch bracket to the

top cover.

5. Lift the display bracket out of the top cover, and then remove the display latch.
