Loosen the captive screws on the heat sink and remove the screws on the fan.

Lift the heat sink to remove it from the computer.

Installing the Heat Sink

Place the heat sink in the heat sink compartment.

Tighten the captive screws to secure the heat sink.

Tighten the screws to secure the fan to the system board.

Connect the fan cable to the system board.

Replace the back cover.

Replace the hard drive assembly.

Replace the back panel

Replace the battery.

Follow the procedures in
