4 microprocessor, shown above with the heat sink attached, contains an integrated 8-KB primary (L1) cache with a

secondary (L2) 256-KB Advanced Transfer Cache that resides in the processor's core and runs at the processor's internal clock speed.

The socketed microprocessor inserts into the ZIF connector mounted on the

system board

. A clip secures the heat sink to the connector.
