NOTICE:
To avoid ESD, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically
touching an unpainted metal surface on the computer.
Removing the Hinge Cover
1. Follow the instructions in "
Preparing to Work Inside the Computer
."
2. Use a nonmarring tool to loosen the hinge cover at the back and at each side of the computer.
3. Open the display and lift off the hinge cover.
Removing the Display Assembly
