Prerequisites

Remove the
base cover
.

Remove the
battery
.
3
Remove the
power and volume-buttons board
.
Procedure
1
Lift the connector latch and disconnect the touchpad cable from the
connector on the touchpad.

Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
3
Peel off the adhesive tapes that secure the speaker cable to the palmrest
and keyboard assembly.
4
Remove the speaker cable from the routing guides on the palmrest and
keyboard assembly.
