Chapter 2 Operation of Diag.
Toner Cartridge Sensor M
(DI-9)
1) Turn on the power and enter the Diagnostic Mode.
2) Remove the Top Cover.
3) Execute the DI-9.
4) Move the levers on both ends of the Magenta Toner backward
to release the lock.
Check the number on the control panel is counted up.
5) Press the “CANCEL” key to stop the test.
6) Rotate the levers of the Magenta Toner forward until it locks
firmly. (You may hear a click when the Toner Cartridge seats
properly.)
7) Reseat the Top Cover.
Toner Cartridge Sensor C
(DI-a)
1) Turn on the power and enter the Diagnostic Mode.
2) Remove the Top Cover.
3) Execute the DI-a.
4) Move the levers on both ends of the Cyan Toner backward to
release the lock.
Check the number on the control panel is counted up.
5) Press the “CANCEL” key to stop the test.
6) Rotate the levers of the Cyan Toner forward until it locks
firmly. (You may hear a click when the Toner Cartridge seats
properly.)
7) Reseat the Top Cover.
