Observe the routing of the cable as you remove it from the sled. Route the cable properly when you replace it to prevent
the cable from being pinched or crimped.

Steps

Press the release clip on the PCIe_A cable connector to disconnect the cable. See the
for more information.

Press the release clip on the PCIe_B cable connector to disconnect the cable. See the
for more information.

If connected, disconnect the SATA cable from the x16 M.2 riser.

Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, loosen the captive screws on the linking board and lift the board up along with the cables.
