Mounting
10 STEP MOUNTING
PROCEDURE
Procedure to mount blade:
1. With hoses straight out behind main frame, align
tractor behind the main frame. Drive forward until the
front bracket pin is just behind the main frame front
hook. It should be lined up so you can drive into the
front hook when it is raised up.
2. Hook up the hydraulics. Connect the HQT (Hydraulic
Quick-Tach) circuit hydraulic hoses at rear of tractor
and Open Ball Valve. (Note: If limited ports are
available, leave tilt hoses disconnected at this time.)
3. Check and ensure HQT Cylinder pins are retracted.
4. Extend lift cylinders until the pin and hook are level.
5. Drive forward until the pin is in the front hook.
6. Retract the lift cylinders bringing the rear main frame
connection into position. By retracting the lift cylinder,
the weight of the front of the blade swings the back
frame upward, positioning the HQT pins.
(Note: If rear main frame guide plates are not
properly aligned with side bracket pins,
slightly
activate the blade angling circuit a small amount to
bring into proper position.)
7. Extend the HQT Cylinder and ensure both axle pins
are engaged and fully secured.
8.
IMPORTANT:
Close the ball valve to prevent
accidental operation of this circuit. Ensure ball valve
handle remains in closed position.
9. If only 6 ports are available, disconnect the HQT
circuit hydraulic hoses and secure. Connect remaining
tilt hydraulic hoses.
10. Note: There should be a 3/8” to 5/8” gap between
the front bracket pin and the front hook.
Important:
You must retract
the lift cylinders to lift blade
before
disengaging the
HQT (Hydraulic Quick-Tach) cylinder pins! This transfers
the weight to the front bracket hook from the rear axle.
Otherwise, the whole assembly may come crashing down.
Procedure to remove blade:
1. Retract lift cylinder to lift blade.
2. Connect & Open the HQT circuit Ball Valve. Activate
the HQT Cylinder to Fully Retract both HQT pins.
3. Lower blade by extending the lift cylinders.
(Main frame will disengage from side brackets)
4. Raise enough to fully support frame. Front hook
should be raised slightly from front bracket pin in
order to back out.
5. Close
Ball Valve
and disconnect
Hydraulics
.
Check that all hoses and connection points are
disconnected and clear to back out.
6. Back tractor out.

Please note:
The brackets and frame
assembly for your particular fit-up may
differ significantly from those used in the
diagram, however, the basic mounting
procedure should remain the same.

Important:
There
should be a gap (3/8” or
larger) between the inside of
the hook to the front of the
bracket pin. The amount of
gap may vary between specific models, but
having a gap at this location is important.
