Side Brackets & Installation
HQT ALIGNMENT PROCEDURE
1)
When installing the
Side Brackets
and the
three
HQT Cylinder bolts
(located on rear main
frame), loosely install the hardware and snug
up without fully tightening. This will allow slight
positioning movement during initial alignment.
2)
Follow the 10 Step HQT mounting procedures
found in the mounting section of this manual to
attach the blade onto the tractor.
3)
With the hydraulics connected, slowly cycle
the HQT cylinder a couple of times to allow
alignment of the HQT pins into the Side Brackets.
4)
After the alignment is adjusted and connecting
properly, secure and tighten the Side Bracket
hardware and the three HQT cylinder bolts.

IMPORTANT-TORQUE
Torque all bolts properly!
Refer to maintenance
section for torque
specifications.

Toolbox
bracket is
re-located.
Weights are
removed.
Side brackets & hardware depend
on tractor model (see below).

Dozer
weights
MUST
be removed
before mounting dozer
blade and when dozing.
Front frame
bracket location.
Weight bracket
is removed.
IMPORTANT:
Both the existing dozer
weights
AND
weight bracket
MUST
be removed before
mounting dozer blade and
when dozing.
Front frame
bracket location.
PREVIOUS FRONT FRAME BRACKET
Remove existing
weight bracket
(if applicable)
IMPORTANT:
Before
tightening side bracket
hardware, refer to the HQT
alignment procedure below.
Front ILS Shield
MUST
be
removed and replaced with new
Degelman
790573 - ILS Shield
to prevent contact with
mainframe. ILS Command Module mounts behind.
