The u pper basket is designed t o hold m ore delicate
and lighter dishware such as glasses, coffee and
tea cups and saucers, as well as pl ates, sm all bowls
and shallow pans (as l ong as they are not too di rty).

Pots, ser ving bowls, etc, must alw ays be placed to p down.
D eep pots should be slan ted to allow water to flow out.

The height of the upper rack c an b e easily adjusted to
accommodat e tal ler dishes in either the upper and lower
rack. To raise the rack to t he upper position, lift rack until
both sides are at the same hei ght. The rack will secure
i nto place. To low er the ra ck, push down on the handle
and release.
Do not let a ny item ex tend throu gh the bottom.

difficult to clea n items
such as
pots, pans, lid s, serving dishes and bowls, as shown
in the figu re below. It is preferable to pl ace serving
dishes and lids on the side of t he racks in order to
avoid blocking the rotation of the top spray arm.
