Amount of Detergent to Use
Dishwasher detergent is corrosive!
Take care to keep it out of reach of children.
Based on their chem ical com position, det erge nts can be split in two basic types:
Dete rgent tablet s of diffe rent brands disso lve at di fferent speeds. For t his reason some
detergent tablets cannot dissolve and develop the ir full cleaning power during short
prog rams. There fore please use l ong program s wh en u sin g deterg ent t ablets, t o
ensure t he complete rem oval of detergent residua ls.
The dispenser m ust be re filled before the start of each wash cycle f ollowing the inst ructi ons
provided in t he w ash cycle table . Your dis hwa sher uses less de tergent and rinse aid than
Conventiona l dis hwa sher. Generally, only one tablespoon of detergent is needed for
a normal wash load. More heavily soiled it ems need more detergent. Al way s ad d the
detergent just be fore starting the dish was her, otherwise it coul d get damp and w ill not
dissolve properly.

Normally new pulverised detergent is with out phosphate. T hus the water softener fu nction of
phospha te is not given. In this case we recommend to fill salt in the salt con taine r even w hen
the hardness of water is only 6 dH. If dete rgents w itho ut phosphate are used in the case of hard wat er
often white spots appear on d ishes and glasses. In this case pl ease add more detergent to reach
bett er result s. Detergent s without chlorine do only bleach a little. S tron g and coloured spots wil l not
be removed com pletely. I n this case please choose a program with a hi gher temperature.

There are 3 sorts of d etergents
1.With phosphate and wit h ch lorine
2.With phosphate and without chlorine
3.Withou t phosphate and without chlorine
Always add the detergent just before starting each wash cycle.
Only use branded detergent aid f or dishwasher.
If the lid is closed: pr ess release button. T he lid will spring open.
